About Wired For Service
Wired For Service is a family-run online shop for vintage computer parts and tested hardware that helps collectors and technicians find reliable equipment from Ontario, Canada.
Our story
Wired For Service started small: a family business built around finding, testing, and shipping hard-to-source vintage computing equipment. What began as a modest online storefront grew into thousands of listings and a reputation buyers could count on.
We began selling on eBay in 2002 and have kept 100% positive feedback across more than 8,000 reviews. That record matters to us. It reflects how we treat every order, whether it ships from this site or through our long-standing marketplace presence. View our eBay seller profile.
Testing first
For vintage hardware, testing is the rule, not the exception. Drives are formatted and checked. Boards are inspected. We photograph the actual item you receive and describe condition honestly. If something is untested or sold as-is, we say so clearly in the listing.
How we work with you
We aim for a frictionless experience: clear listings, responsive support, and fast handling once you order. Shipping options and costs are shown up front so there are no surprises at checkout.
